Eco Friendly Items

There was a time when eco friendly items were somewhat hard to come by. This, however, is no longer the case. Today there is an amazing array of items made from ecologically sound materials and manufacturing techniques.

Many apparel manufacturers have at least one line of eco friendly items for sale. Clothing made from such materials as hemp and bamboo not only provide a high degree of durability, but both materials are natural, sustainable mediums for all kinds of apparel. Other materials such as organic cotton and modal wood pulp are also commonly used by clothing manufacturers.

Gadgets that formerly used batteries are being converted to eco friendly items as well. Radios and lanterns that are manually “wound up” are common with many campers. Portable solar power technology has also made solar energy a viable option for many of these devices.
