Eco Light

Using the right eco light can not only save you money, but can be beneficial to the environment as well. Energy efficient lights can greatly reduce the amount of energy consumed within a home. This in turn means that less energy needs to be produced, resulting in less toxins being put into the environment by power plants.

Over 34 billion dollars are spent each year just to light up the homes and businesses of this country. The unfortunate part is that over half of this energy is wasted through the use of inferior lighting fixtures and bulbs. Incandescent lights are a major contributor to this waste, as only 5% of the energy they consume is actually used for illumination, with the rest only producing excess heat.

Using an eco light system for outside the home can also help reduce your monthly energy bills. Solar powered lights are extremely popular for this application as they require no conventional source of electricity. The sunlight they receive during the day will usually keep them lit up all night long.
