Solar Power

Solar power has been used for centuries to make home environments more comfortable. Passive solar techniques such as sky lights and southward facing windows can go a long way with regards to maintaining temperatures inside a home. However, active solar power has made the sun an even more valuable energy source.

Active solar power uses photovoltaic panels to convert sunlight into electricity. Advances in solar panel technology have made these panels even more efficient, resulting in a boom in popularity. More and more homes around the world have used these systems with outstanding results.

The cost of designing and installing a solar power system depends on largely on how many kilowatt-hours of electricity you require for your home or business. However, this cost can be offset by taking advantage of the many federal and local tax incentives and rebates that are offered to solar energy users. In many cases, the cost can be cut in half through the use of these resources.
